【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatestherelativeflammabilityoftextilesandgarmentsintendedforuseinchildren'ssleepwear.Theproceduresofthistestmethodfollowtestingandlaunderingproceduresusedtoevaluatetheflammabilityofchildren'ssleepwearcontainedinUSFederalRegulations16CFR1615and1616.Atextileusedinchildren'ssleepwearmustbetestedinitsoriginalstateandafter50launderinganddryingcyclestoassesstheflameresistanceofthetextilerelativetoitsuselife.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard;inch-poundunitsareprovidedforinformationonly.Thistestmethodshouldbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterials,products,orassembliesinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshouldnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.However,thetestresultsmaybeusedaselementsofafire-riskassessment,whichtakesinto,accountallofthefactors,whicharepertinentfactorstothepotentialfirehazardofaparticularenduse.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminestheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificprecautionaryinformationisfoundin8.5and9.5.HistoryofversionsASTMD6545(2000)
