【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationforthedesignandconstructionofpowertake-off(PTO)driveshaftsandtheirguardslinkingself-propelledmachinery(ortractor)tothefirstfixedbearingofrecipientmachinery,bydescribingmethodsfortheeliminationorreductionofriskswhichneedspecificrequirements.ThisstandardconcernsonlythePTOdriveshaftsandthoseguardswhicharemechanicallylinkedtothePTOdriveshaftbyatleasttwobearings.Inaddition,itspecifiesthetypeofinformationonsafeworkingpracticestobeprovidedbythemanufacturer.Thisstandarddoesnotdealwith:—theguardstotallycovering,butnotmechanicallylinkedto,thePTOdriveshaft.Asthesedevicesarenotatpresentwidelyestablishedonthemarket,theyshouldbedealtwithinafuturerevisionofthisstandard;—themechanicalcharacteristicsofPTOdriveshafts,overrundevicesandtorquelimiters;—generalhazardswhicharedealtwithinEN1553(seeintroduction).Environmentalaspectshavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.ThisdocumentisnotapplicabletoPTOdriveshaftsandtheirguardswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
