【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscovertheproceduresfordeterminingtheresistanceofpaneledwallsystemssubjectedtocombinedlateralloadsandaxialloads.Thesetestmethodsinvolvethesimultaneousapplicationoftransverse(lateralwind)andtensile(winduplift)loadstopaneledwallsystemassembliesanchoredatbothendswithhold-downconnectors.Thesetestmethodsaresuitablefordeterminingthestructuraladequacyofthedesign,system,andwallfabricationtechnique,andarenotintendedtoevaluatethestrengthcapacityofthehold-downconnectors.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
