【摘要】:Informationonthevaporpressuresofliquefiedpetroleumgasispertinenttoselectionofproperlydesignedstoragevessels,shippingcontainers,andcustomerutilizationequipmenttoensuresafehandlingoftheseproducts.Determinationofthevaporpressureofliquefiedpetroleumgasisimportantforsafetyreasonstoensurethatthemaximumoperatingdesignpressuresofstorage,handling,andfuelsystemswillnotbeexceededundernormaloperatingtemperatureconditions.Forliquefiedpetroleumgases,vaporpressurecanbeconsideredasemi-quantitativemeasureoftheamountofthemostvolatilematerialpresentintheproduct.Thistestmethodusesasmallsamplevolumeandexcludesanymanualhandlingofameasuringchamberunderhighpressure.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheuseofautomaticvaporpressureinstrumentstodeterminethevaporpressureofliquefiedpetroleumgasproductsatatemperatureof37.8x00B0;C,vaportoliquidratioof0.5:1,andpressuresfrom200to1550kPaonasamplevolumeof3.33mL.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletothedeterminationofvaporpressuresofliquefiedpetroleumgasproductsattemperaturesfrom37.8to70x00B0;C,vaportoliquidratiosof0.1:1to4:1,andpressuresupto3500kPa;however,theprecisionofthetestmethod(seeSection15)hasonlybeendeterminedforavaportoliquidratioof0.5:1,atatemperatureof37.8x00B0;C,andapressurerangefrom300to1500kPa.Note18212;ThistestmethodisnotintendedtodeterminethetruevaporpressureofLPGsamples,butratherdetermineandreportthevaporpressureofLPGatthe37.8x00B0;Ctemperatureand0.5:1vaportoliquidratioastheTestMethodD1267method.Note28212;Thistestmethodisnotatruevaporpressuremethodandwillnotmeasurethefullcontributionfromanydissolvedgasessuchasnitrogenorheliumiftheyarepresent.Thecontributionoflightgasestothemeasuredvaporpressureishighlydependentonthetesttemperature,typeofgas,andV/Lratioofthetest.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificwarningstatements,seeAppendixX2.
